The Bowers Museum

An art museum with over 100,000 collections from all over the world. Permanent collection includes pottery, weapons and tools out of stone and bones, jewelry, historic costumes, and many others. In categories, it has Art of Africa, Native American Art, Pre-Columbian Art, Art of Asia, South American Ethnographic Collection, Orange County History, and many others. One of the highlighted exhibitions of the museum is the Sprits and Headhunters: Art of the Pacific Islands which focuses particularly on the land of the headhunter, New Guinea. This museum hosts special exhibits, travel programs, art classes, and even gatherings and wedding events. Just two blocks south of this museum is the Kidseum, a collaborative art and archeology museum for children. It's a good place to visit with family to have fun while learning.

Lyon Air Museum

Lyon Air Museum is an aerospace museum and events venue hosting special exhibits throughout the year. The museum displays authentic military aircrafts, vehicles, and rare collectibles from World War II Era. It was founded by Major General WIllion Lyon, US Airforce retiree. The aircraft collections includes Douglas A-26 Invader, North American B-25 Mitchell, Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress, North American SNJ-6 Texan, Cessna O-1E Bird Dog, Douglas C-47 Skytrain, and Doughlas DC-3 Flagship Orange County. All aircrafts displayed are still in good flying condition infact one of the aircrafts participates in the annual Airshow at Huntington Beach.

Heritage Museum of Orange County
