Barnaul runs at UTC+07:00 permanently since 2016, when Altai Krai moved forward one hour from the Omsk Time zone (+06:00) to align with Krasnoyarsk Time. This put Barnaul four hours ahead of Moscow. No DST.

The City

Barnaul (~630,000) straddles the Ob River in southwestern Siberia.
